We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Services includes:

• Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your email address and display name, which you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Services or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Services (such as chat rooms, session bookings, and event matches).
• Location Information: We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Services, to provide location-based matchmaking, map-based court finders, and lobby locations. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.
• User-Generated Content: Information and communications that you post in our public lobby chats, session chats, and event forums.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you allows us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Services to:

• Create and manage your user account.
• Facilitate user-to-user matchmaking, ranking updates, and coordinate lobbies.
• Provide, run, and moderate interactive chat and communication features.
• Locate courts near you and assist with event organization.
• Deliver administrative updates, newsletters, or support messages.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.

3. Data Retention & Storage

Your account information and matchmaking history are safely stored in secure servers utilizing standard encryption and protection mechanisms. We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

4. Your Rights & Account Deletion

We believe in giving you full control over your personal information. You have the right to access, update, correct, or delete your personal details at any time.

Account and Data Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the PicklePath application. To do so, navigate to Edit Profile -> expand the Advanced Settings accordion -> click Delete Account. This action is permanent and deletes all your profile, matchmaking statistics, history, and chat messages immediately. Alternatively, you may contact us at support@picklepath.net to request manual deletion, which will be processed within 30 days.

5. User-Generated Content & Chat Safety

Because our application includes communication features (Lobby and Session Chats), we have strict controls in place to protect users against abusive behavior. Users have the ability to report offensive messages and block/mute abusive users instantly. Blocked users' messages are hidden, and reports are logged and audited by our moderation team to ensure a safe environment.
